How Connect Dot collects, uses, retains, and deletes personal information.
1. Personal Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, name, password stored in a non-reversible form, optional mobile phone number, language, and verification, consent, and account-status information; for Google sign-in, Google account identifier, email address, and name
- Authored content: resumes, essays, career experience, projects, job posts, application documents, and AI analysis and generated results
- Guest preview information: job post URLs or text, uploaded resume PDFs and file information, resume entries organized from the PDF, AI analysis and generated results, and a non-reversible access value used to continue in the same browser
- File and inquiry information: files uploaded for document import and related processing information, inquiry content and submission information
- Usage records: IP address, feature and credit usage, and request, error, and security records
2. How We Use Personal Information
- Account creation, sign-in, email verification, account management, and password reset
- Managing resumes, experience, and job posts; importing and exporting documents; analyzing job posts; matching experience; and drafting application documents
- Providing actual analysis before sign-up, restoring work in the same browser for 24 hours, and connecting results and review-pending resume entries after sign-up or sign-in
- Measuring guest preview completion, sign-up selection, account connection, full-result viewing, and processing reliability
- Inquiry response, service protection, error response, and credit and usage management
3. External Services and Overseas Transfers
When you use a relevant feature, necessary personal information may be sent over an encrypted network to the following external services.

- We use materials and results from AI features to provide the requested feature. We obtain separate consent before using them to improve service quality.
- You may decline an overseas transfer by not using the relevant feature, in which case that feature will be unavailable.
4. Retention and Deletion
- Accounts and service data are deleted when the 30-day recovery period after account deletion ends.
- Guest preview PDF originals are deleted immediately after their contents are read. If deletion cannot be confirmed, no result is released, deletion is retried, and the storage lifecycle removes the object within 24 hours.
- Organized job post and resume entries and analysis results used for a guest preview are retained for 24 hours. After sign-up or sign-in connects the preview to an account, guest content other than the minimum connection receipt is cleared immediately.
- Guest preview status and step-completion records that exclude job post and resume content, filenames, and access values are retained for 60 days to evaluate the user flow and processing reliability, and are then deleted.
- Resume entries moved to an account remain in review-pending status for 24 hours unless saved or dismissed. Connected analysis results follow the ordinary retention rules for account service data.
- For other document imports, unprocessed uploads expire after one hour; processed files and information expire 24 hours after processing and are then deleted during scheduled cleanup.
- Information that must be retained by law is separated for the statutory period and then deleted using methods that prevent recovery.
5. Cookie Use
Connect Dot uses cookies to keep users signed in, secure sign-in, remember language preferences, and connect a guest preview. The guest preview cookie is a 24-hour access value whose original value is not stored by the server; it is used only to restore the result in the same browser and connect it to an account. Cookies are stored for up to one year depending on their purpose and can be deleted or blocked in browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit sign-in, preview continuation, or other features.
6. User Rights
- Users may request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of personal information, and may withdraw consent.

7. Privacy and Contact
Connect Dot protects personal information through access controls, encryption, and access-record retention.
