How Connect Dot collects, uses, retains, and deletes personal information.
1. Personal Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, name, password stored in a non-reversible form, optional mobile phone number, language, and verification, consent, and account-status information; for Google sign-in, Google account identifier, email address, and name
- Authored content: resumes, essays, career experience, projects, job posts, application documents, and AI analysis and generated results
- File and inquiry information: files uploaded for document import and related processing information, inquiry content and submission information
- Usage records: IP address, feature and credit usage, and request, error, and security records
2. How We Use Personal Information
- Account creation, sign-in, email verification, account management, and password reset
- Managing resumes, experience, and job posts; importing and exporting documents; analyzing job posts; matching experience; and drafting application documents
- Inquiry response, service protection, error response, and credit and usage management
3. External Services and Overseas Transfers
When you use a relevant feature, necessary personal information may be sent over an encrypted network to the following external services.

- We use materials and results from AI features to provide the requested feature. We obtain separate consent before using them to improve service quality.
- You may decline an overseas transfer by not using the relevant feature, in which case that feature will be unavailable.
4. Retention and Deletion
- Accounts and service data are deleted when the 30-day recovery period after account deletion ends.
- Unprocessed uploads expire after one hour; processed files and information expire 24 hours after processing and are then deleted during scheduled cleanup.
- Information that must be retained by law is separated for the statutory period and then deleted using methods that prevent recovery.
5. Cookie Use
Connect Dot uses cookies to keep users signed in, secure sign-in, and remember language preferences. Cookies are stored for up to one year depending on their purpose and can be deleted or blocked in browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit sign-in or other features.
6. User Rights
- Users may request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of personal information, and may withdraw consent.
- Profile updates, consent changes, and account deletion can be requested from the account page. For other privacy rights, contact support@connect-dot.kr.
7. Privacy and Contact
Connect Dot protects personal information through access controls, encryption, and access-record retention.
